Way back on July 27, Marty posted to his Facebook page: “I just accepted 8 News Now‘s invitation to host a debate in October between the candidates for Congress in Nevada’s 3rd District. We will now wait for Player 2 Susie Lee…”
And we’re still waiting. A month later. Our prediction (and we hope we’re wrong) is that Susie Lee will not face Marty 1-on-1 on a debate stage. She’ll just keep lying in her campaign ads by saying, like trying to convince us that she and the Democrat party came up with the “No Tax on Tips” idea that was one of President Donald Trump’s core concepts in the “Big Beautiful Bill,” which EVERY Democrat, including Susie Lee, voted against.
When it comes to Marty’s campaign, we’d love nothing more than watching Susie Lee try to take on Marty in a full-on, no-holds-barred campaign. Susie Lee is not a thoughtful candidate. She has not schooled herself in reading, absorbing, and projecting ideas and ideals found in classic writing by the likes of Thomas Sowell, William F. Buckley Jr., and Milton Friedman.
Susie Lee is for the most part not an independent thinker. She’s a rubber stamp Democrat that marches along nearly 100% in lockstep with the US House Democratic leadership. She’s out of her depth on Capitol Hill and is, indeed, as we like to brand her, “A Fool on the Hill.”
Bring on a debate! Can’t wait.
