Tuesday, August 25 – US House Speaker Mike Johnson traveled to Las Vegas as part of a trip he’s on to visit key swing Congressional Districts in this November midterm election.
He stopped by Marty’s campaign headquarters in the Sun City Summerlin area and spoke to a standing room only crowd of people who had gathered to hear he and Marty deliver some brief remarks. Speaker Johnson and Marty then traveled to a fundraising event at Red Rock Casino and Resort where they both spoke again; Nevada State Sen. Carrie Buck, the Republican candidate running for Congressional District 1, kicked off the event with remarks.
Among the crowd at Marty’s campaign HQ were Nevada Republican Party Chairman Michael McDonald, Clark County Republican Committee Chairwoman Jill Douglass, SD-12 Republican candidate Rafael Arroyo, AD-42 Republican candidate Christopher Brandlin, as well as three Republican candidates for office from Indiana, Texas and Oklahoma.
